What's in a Name?

A day doesn't go by that we aren't asked by someone what Genesis Eleven means. Believe it or not, the name came to our founder in a dream and when she started exploring the meaning of the words, she discovered alignment with our vision to create stronger relationships and teams by improving communication, understanding, acceptance, and celebration of others.

The Words

Genesis

Genesis derives via Latin from the Greek gignesthai, meaning "to be born," and can refer to the origin or beginning of anything from a heavenly body to an idea. Today we use genesis to refer to the creative beginnings of much smaller things, but never unimportant ones.

Eleven

Considered a master number, relating to intuition, wisdom, and communication; represents a higher level of awareness

Genesis Eleven

The beginning of wisdom, communication, and awareness.

The Shapes

The tool we provide for understanding yourself and others is called CIAO;

each shape represents the primary driver of the four personality tendencies taught in the program. Each shape is made up of four arcs because every person contains all traits - what we need to observe and understand is the intensity of each.
